Consumers opt in at

by entering their first name, mobile number, and state and checking an
unchecked, optional consent box. Two consents are collected separately:
(1) service / informational (customer-care) text messages such as quote
follow-ups, appointment reminders, and account alerts from American
Member Benefits, and (2) — separately and optionally — promotional /
marketing text messages.
